Before you need to know how
BoatPro, published by Canadian Power and Sail Squadrons (CPS) and accredited by the Canadian Coast Guard, is the qualifying
course for the
Canadian Coast Guard Operator Proficiency Card.
Ideal for "about-to-be" boat owners, new boat owners, hunters, anglers and cottagers - who use their boat for transportation or pleasure, and all boaters who want to have more fun, with less stress on the water.
This course covers more than just the hi-lit "need-to-know" information. With fast-paced text, illustrated with humorous cartoons from the pen of Robert Van Nood - well-known artist, and a boater himself.
BoatPro contains a self-test quiz for home study,and is available on the Internet, or in an eight-hour instructional format, through the Nelson Squadron
