SEAMANSHIP SAIL
An introductory course that teaches some basic  sailing techniques for safe operation under various conditions. This will encourage participants to
 become more competent  sailors

Some of the  areas reviewed are:-Spars & rigging; sails &  sail  theory; Sailboat handling; cruising under sail. (Day boats and keelboats.)

SEAMANSHIP POWER
This course expands upon the safety and operating subjects contained in the BOATING COURSE to provide the knowledge required to become a Safe & Proficient operator of a power driven boat.                                                                                   Some of the areas reviewed are:- Power trains; engine controls;engine trouble diagnosis; fuels fuel systems; electrical system; cooling & lubrication;Hull maintenance.

WEATHER
The detailed subject matter will enable the boat operator to anticipate adverse weather conditions, by gathering pertinent
information and interpreting weather signs.
Some areas reviewed are:- Atmospheric pressure; wind; temperature & moisture; air masses; frontal weather; clouds;precipitation & fog; wave theory; weather forecasting.
