The Boating Course
Course Description
This CCG accredited course is intended to provide elementary instruction in boat handling, for safe operation of a boat in sheltered waters during daylight hours.
The Boating Course is open to the public. Students take the CCG exam and obtain a passing grade of 75%, will receive their CCG Pleasure Craft Operator Card. Successful completion of the CPS examination at the end of the entire course, with a passing grade of 80%, are qualified to become CPS Members.
